Throughout the last century, there has been a revival of the written tradition in indigenous languages. This has involved the creation of alphabets and orthographic systems, sparking very interesting discussions that highlight the challenges of these processes. This presentation will discuss some of the main challenges that indigenous languages face in the development of written usage.
